while traveling on NYS thruway, juke went lame. No power, car slowed down and transmission would not downshift. This went on for about 15-20 minutes on the highway and when I got closer to NYC and got in heavy traffic it suddenly corrected itself and everything was back to normal. This same problem has occurred 4 of 5 last trips to NYC
Your car obviously doesn’t like NYC!
Did the check engine light come on when this happened? Does it stay on after the car “comes back”?
Do you always take the same route into the city when this happens? Does it happen at the same spot and is it “cured” at the same spot?
