My car is not shifting out of 1st gear
Then you clearly have a transmssion problem. Take it into a local independent transmssion shop.
Without more info…I’ll guess.
Clutch master cylinder is shot.
Clutch fluid is empty.
Clutch slave cylinder is shot.
clutch is shot.
Transmission is shot
Automatic; shift solenoids are shot.
I’ll fix it all for $7
