i take my transit to mechanic shop for shake engine and they find out was on engine mount ,and they replace it …buth still doing the same problems …any idea what can be …
One engine mount? They may need to replace every engine and transmission mount to eliminate this discomfort. Four cylinder engines are typically not vibration free so don’t be too particular.
If the mounts are in good shape and the check engine light isn’t on you may have a cylinder with low compression. That would cause it to run rougher than normal.
Someone must have cleared a misfire code which would part of the cylinder compression issues. Rough idle would tell me that one could be using bad fuel and this needs to be changed. plus one should avoid the STP stuff. However I would try the gumout tune up fliud.
