Indeed, the majority of Highlanders do have a V6. There is also a hybrid V6. I don’t mean to question Nevada_545, but I think starting in 08 the Highlander switched from the 3.3 to the new 3.5. That was the first year of the new generation. My '07 has the 3.3. Both have been pretty good engines.
