does my car have a timing chain or timing belt?
Owners manual will tell you if belt, and the recommended change time/distance. If no mention in OM, it’s a chain.
You could also enter your car’s data at a site like Rockauto.com and see what timing components your engine has.
Both of the engines available, 1.8 L and 2.4 L have a timing chain.
