My wife and I bought a Honda van for our family because they are supposed to be reliable and safe. Recently, the van has developed some electrical trouble that has compromised both the reliability and safety of the vehicle.
4 Symptoms:
Won’t turn over until jumped
Can happen after van has been off for both hours and/or minutes
Turn ignition key and dash lights flicker continuously along with constant clicking sound
Started last summer and is becoming more frequent. Now every few weeks.
Jumping the van starts it back up
Please provide your thoughts before I end up spending hundreds or thousands at a repair shop to try and ‘diagnose’ and fix the problem.
