it was making a noise like a card in the spokes of a bicycle when she turned one way the noise would get louder and the other way it would sometimes stop making the noise, the heads of the torque converter bolts are chewed up like they were hitting the back of the block and now it leaks oil out of the bellhousing like a rear main seal is bad, I thought the converter bolts might have came loose and backed out but they seem tight, but something came loose and got into the flex plate I also checked the thrust play to see if it crank walked but all looks good, ive been a mechanic for over 20 years and haven’t seen this one yet. but I do have to pull the trans. anyway to find the hole it wore into the block and fix that anyway so I might find the cause of all this anyway
