As stated below the make and model drove fine. Left after sitting for 10hours. Put in drive took off and wouldn’t shift out of “1st” gearwhen in “D”, tried putting it in “2”position still would only stay in first. No shaking or slipping prior that I know, was driveing on unplowed roads in a snowstorm. Park reverse and going into Drive work and is smooth just wont shift past 1st when driving(revs out). 150,000 miles and AWD model… god only knows what owner I am, at least 3rd. Hydraulic pump?, PCM, wiring? Shift solenoids?..
WE can’t see that. Could you elaborate?
What you describe is definitely a transmission problem. Given the miles, I’d guess a total rebuild is in order.
