2008 Honda Accord EX 2.4 L 5MT 91,000 mi. Pressed the clutch pedal, heard a smashing sound ! No clutch. I have driven standard for 48 years … never had this happen! What’s up?
You clutch just broke. It happens. Without more information, I can’t tell you WHAT broke, just that it did. Could be the master, or slave, or pressure plate, or clutch fork… Impossible to say for sure over the interwebs but I’d guess the pressure plate spring just broke.
Call a tow truck and have the car delivered to your favorite independent shop.
