2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac makes a roaring sound when driving straight

My truck make a roaring sound only when I’m driving straight but around curves it stops. I replace all four tires with Michelin LTX M/S because I thought it was worn tires, 6 year bu it still does it.

Roaring and growling sounds that get louder the faster you go can be a wheel bearing problem. If it stopped when turning in only one direction that make it even more likely to be a wheel bearing problem. Since I presume the noise stops when turning either direction, that’s gonna be more of a diagnostic puzzle. New M/S tires can make noise too as the tread can be pretty aggressive. You’d have to install all season tires to test that. Could probably do the test just by installing all season on the front.
