2008.5 Mazda 3 Turning On Headlights Doesn't Turn On Inside Lighting

A couple of weeks ago I put in one new headlight bulb because it was out. It’s the first time I did something like this and it seemed to all work after I put it in.

About a few days later I noticed that when I turn the headlights on, the inside lights don’t turn on anymore.

I’ve also noticed that the dashboard “headlight on” indicator doesn’t come on anymore.

Is this something I did? Is this something I can fix myself?

Check to make sure the dimmer switch for the dash lights isn’t turned down. Could also be a blown fuse.

So it was a blown fuse, I think it was the illumination fuse. Thanks so much for the help!
