The battery went dead in my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid. I have recharged the battery but the car will not start. How do I start a recharged battery in this car. It will not start. Lights come on but can’t start it. Help!!!
While it is unusual for a 3 year old battery to fail, it is not impossible.
If this battery has gone though any deep cycling, then it is very likely that it is not possible for it to be recharged at this point.
You may just have to bite the bullet and buy a new battery. Remember to clean the battery cable connections before installing a new battery.
I agree with VDCdriver. My batteries last about 4 years. Make sure to get one with more cranking amps than the one you have now, if possible. That should make it last a bit longer.
