A headlight on my wife’s Prius was working intermittingly (maybe a while when it is turned on. The Toyota dealer couldn’t find out anything wrong the first time we took it in (29.4k). The next time we took it in they said even the extended warranty did not cover the head light and would cost $250 (39k). Something sounds very fishy to me. Was wondering if there were other Prius owners having headlight probs.
Sounds like you have HID’s If they have to replace the ballast or the entire unit, $250 is quite reasonable. If you have the halogen lights then the price is outrageous, and you should go elseware for repairs.
