Dear Ray, I drive a 2007 Honda CR-V EX with just over 100k miles. I could not be happier with it. My husband says due to its age I should consider trading it in before a catastrophic failure. I have not been very happy with the changes Honda has made in the CR-V, mainly aesthetically. My question is what would be the best comparable replacement vehicle? I have researched many but came up only confused. Thanks for responding.
Hi, Valerie. I’m not Ray but I’d suggest you ignore your husband’s advice. These cars have been known to run well over 200,000 miles without major problems. A his unlikely “catastrophic” failure will still cost less to repair than a new car costs.
