I have two issues with my 2007 Fusion. First: I cannot open the driver side door from the inside. Second: recently I am not able to remove my key from the ignition after putting it in park and turning off the engine. I turn the key to the lock position which is where it needs to be to take out the key. Is this a switch problem or a transmission problem? I have done two things to be able to remove the key. Move the shifter back and forth several times and disconnected the battery.
