right headlight headlight is out

Do you mean high beam headlight? If so, the high beam solenoid in the bulb assembly may be bad. I believe the type of HID system that Cadillac used here uses a solenoid to change the position of the bulb shield to redirect the low beam for high beam operation.
A new HID bulb assembly may be needed.
This assumes the right side high beam fuse (in underhood fuse block) is good.
