2006 Toyota Corolla

About a couple of weeks ago I had to slam on my breaks to avoid hitting somebody that pulled out in front of me and shortly after that a funny noise has begun. It almost sounds like the noise that is made when an “r” is being rolled. It isn’t there when the car is started, when its idle, or even when I am stopped at a stop light. It even stops when I turn the wheel to the right. Any ideas?

How far did you skid?

I’m thinking perhaps a flat spot in the tire tread.

Only a couple of feet.

I’m gonna “bump” this one 'cause I’m out of ideas.

Maybe a stuck ABS system?
