2006 suburban stall

Hello ! My 06 suburban is causing problems. Every time I come up to a stop sign or intersection and slow down then give it some gas it seems to stall. I then have to take my foot off the gas and wait a second and then slowly give it gas again. The engine isn’t stalling though . I had it in to midas and they cleaned/ washed out the throttle area ? Any ideas ?

How many miles are on your suburban? Thinking about all of the maintenance on the schedule listed in the owner’s manual what can you say about what has been done and when? E.g. how old are the spark plugs and wire? Filters?

Is the check engine light on?

Did the throttle body cleaning include cleaning of the idle air control valve? It should have. FYI, chain shops like Midas are generally not the best places to take a car. The quality of them varies so some are fine for purchasing basic services. But selling basic services is what they are set up to do. They are generally not full of experienced mechanics and diagnosticians. So you might want to ask around among people you know to find a trustworthy, locally owned auto repair shop.

Cleaning the throttle body was a good first step

By the way, a 2006 Suburban doesn’t have an IAC. It has an electronic throttle

My bad.

I’ll go a little off topic

I believe Ford used an IAC for a few years longer than GM did
