I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 3500 1 ton dual axel diesel. This vehicle only has 38,000 miles and I am now experiencing a problem with the rear end. Appears that the outer bearings have disintegrated and I don’t know if there is still more problems with the gears. Has anyone experienced this with this vehicle or a vehicle similar with such little mileage?
No…but anything is possible. What have you been hauling or towing with this truck? These trucks are usually well built with heavy duty components. Have you used this truck to haul boats in and out of water?
Towing a 5th wheel camper approx 150 miles each year…so it is very gently used which is what I can’t understand
