My rear propeller shaft seems to make a constant squealing noise whenever I accelerate especially when travelling uphill.
It could be a few things, something kicked up by the road is stuck underneath and rubbing on the propshaft. Something in the exhaust has shifted and is rubbing on the propshaft or the universal (or CV) joints on the propshaft no longer have any lubrication and are failing. You need to get under the Tacoma and get a good look. If you don’t see any rubbing marks, it most likely is the U-joint
