engine will stall and shut down while driving and I have to wait for several minute to start my truck back up
Is the check engine light on?
Often a sensor, like the crankshaft position sensor, fails while hot and is OK when not. Can you test for a no-spark and a no-fuel condition while it is not running? That will narrow down the possibilities.
