2005 Honda Accord 4cyl

I have been having a problem with my Honda overheating while the A/C is on, this is the thing though on any day when the weather is 85 or lower I can run my A/c all day no problem. But when it is 90 degrees out side my engine starts to over heat while the A/C is on, how ever as soon as I turn the A/c off temperature needle goes back down even in 90 degree weather…Please help with any suggestions.

When you turn on the A/C both(?) electric radiator cooling fans should start and stay running as long as the A/C is on…Open your hood and verify that is the case…

If so, then try CLEANING the bugs and other debris out of the radiator, which may be partially plugged up, greatly restricting air-flow…

While Caddy is right as a starting point, you should also check your anti-freeze level. Worst case you may have a clogged radiator or a weak water pump. However lets start with the basics first
