When I turn right at very slow or no speed, I can hardly turn the steering wheel as if the power steering was nonexistent. after just a small acceleration, it’s fine. Turning left is no problem. 2005 Yukon XL 4 WD’
Seems to be a problem with these vehicles. Bad steering box is the most common problem for this symptom.
Is your power steering fluid level correct . . . ?
Yes. I did have to add fluid just before this problem started.
