No, actually I’d take the vehicle to a shop that works on automotive AC systems and let them do it. I do not have the proper equipment and expertise for AC work.
Doing it right means being able to draw a high vacuum in the system after removing the coolant. Do you have or have access to a proper pump?
I recommend having some jobs done professionally and this is one.
With the right tools and experience it is not all that difficult, but for most of us, it is worth the cost of having it done, and likely will be cheaper.
Don’t use a quick oil change place. The best and likely cheapest is a real local A/C shop. Avoid national chains.
