Busted a u joint would like to get a nice and humble estimate if anyone would be so nice as to inquire on the cost of repair. Dads trucks screwed up lol not funny though for some mechanic shop up in Idaho priced it at 800$ to fix. Any response will be greatly appreciated

Exactly what was the shop proposing to do for $800 . . . ?
Replace u-joints, maybe the center support, replace yoke, rebalance drive shaft . . . ?
