gas gauge inop and low fuel light lit up and, yes, it has fuel
Melvin , stop making new threads about the same question .
@cdaquila @GorehamJ Carolyn or John could you please combine these multiple threads .
First of all . . .
I don’t think Chevy offered a S-10 Blazer for the 2005 model year, but I may be mistaken
Do you have an S-10 Blazer?
Or do you in fact have a Trailblazer?
They’re very different vehicles
In any case, it’s very possible the fuel sending unit is faulty, sometimes due to deposits on the contacts
That said . . . there is a chance that if you start filling up with top tier fuel, the problem may disappear
Are you intending on fixing this problem yourself, or are you planning on bringing the truck to a shop?
If filling up with top tier fuel doesn’t resolve the issue, the next step is to figure out if the problem is the fuel sending unit, wiring or the cluster
Sorry, I am a newbie and I haven’t got a clue how I opened 2 and, perhaps more importantly, how to close them. Are there delete options here?
