My MPH gauge, odometer, transmission drive indicator does not work on the instrument panel. The RPM, all other gauges and lights work. My car also doesnot shift out of 1st gear.
I suspect that the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is defective.
It sounds like you have a power problem to the areas mentioned. Have you checked the fuses to see if they are good? If not, I suggest you do that first. If they are ok then I would verify that power is getting to those areas.
