I have a 04 buick rainier, recently it started to have electronic issues with the speedometer. the speedo will not react to speed conditions, and while driving the car it feels like the transmission is out of whack. the next time you drive it the speedometer works and the transmission feels fine. I would like to fix this promblem myself, any sujestions. also: there is no check engine light on.
Exactly what issues are you talking out. “Issues with the speedometer” and “feels like the transmission is out of whack” are not very helpful.
That said it is likely the sensor or wiring to it.
I would check the vehicle speed sensor for a problem. It may be just a connection problem.
