I have a 2004 Odyssey with two plastic inserts which the rear license plate screws are screwed into. One is stripped. The thing only costs $0.85, but I can’t figure out how to remove the old one and don’t want to pay $40 of labor for the dealership to do it. Any ideas on how to remove the inserts?
Just get a slightly larger diameter stainless steel screw and use it in the old plastic. It will work well enough.
