Van cuts out while driving. Will restart after sitting a short time. Then cuts out again. Mechanic replaced cable from battery to engine block. (I think!) Can’t find anything else. He’s done. What can I do now?
Find a better mechanic. Look online at Yelp, Google, ask friends and others to find a well-rated, local independent mechanic.
I would suspect the crankshaft position sensor but that is a guess with very little information out here on the internet.
