My 2004 4.7l Dakota does not have any passing power 137,000 miles. Low end seems fine.
Manual or automatic transmission? I have the 3.9 V6 and it will pass anything. Try downshifting if it’s a manual or pressing harder on the accelerator if it’s an automatic. This will work as long as the engine is running good. If not…see an independent mechanic.
