My 04 Silverado has 53000 miles on it. The engine “stutters” at 45 mph. The dealer service center replaced the tourque converter at the cost of $1500. It did not fix the problem. They recently tried a fuel treatment on the recommendation of a field engineer. Problem not fixed. They have had my truck in their service center for 50 days on and off since Dec 26. Any ideas?
Tell them you are ready to take truck elsewhere,this problem needs “fresh eyes”. Talk to them about the unecessary torque converter replacement,get some or all your money back.
