My first sports car. Bought it yesterday. (also got hit by a deer yesterday!!!) anyway the car is very deep sounding Im not sure how to describe it, before shifting. Cruse’s fine but in the low gears just dosent sound or feel like what im used to. I’ve never had a 5 speed, so hitting top geat at 70 mph is also new…IF you have an eclipse…how does it sound and feel?
Hitting top gear at 70 mph is a little high. For normal acceleration, you should be shifting at around 2200 rpm which should put you in top gear at around 45 mph. Higher shift points are for spirited driving or racing.
