Valid point George. I’ll do that.
One thing I’ll caution you on with performance upgrades on that car. The cylinder liners are fiber-reinforced metal. If you mess up and they get scored, they can be honed, but not by a normal shop. You have to find a shop that knows how to handle FRM. A friend of mine decided to boost an S2000. Ended up causing damage after a number of years. Last I heard, it’s still sitting on jack stands because he can’t afford to have the cylinders honed.

Yes, going for ‘factory fresh’ performance, rather than ‘hopped up’, would be my path.
Try gymkhana or autocross racing and see if you like it. There might be some on a parking lot near you.
