I need to replace my upper and lower ball joints. I know that I can purchase the parts for around $200. I would like to know what it would be a ball park figure to have them replaced in the Chicago-land area?

@Vix upper ball joints are NOT available for your Ford Ranger with a stock setup. If the upper ball joints are worn, you need to get complete control arms. UNLESS YOU HAVE AFTERMARKET UPPER ARMS WITH REPLACEABLE BALL JOINTS.
