after 59,000 miles, my 2003 ford f-150 started making a “whirring” sound as it goes thru the gears. the dealer replaced the alternator, tensioner, and power steering pump to no avail (thanks for the bill, pal). any ideas?
Thanks for telling us the mileage, how about the engine you have, the transmission in the truck and how this thing only has 59K miles…
From the limited description of the whine, I’d guess automatic transmission pump… way more expensive than those cheaper repairs. But I am not standing in front of the truck listening…
