2003 audi

I have a 2003 AUDI 1.8T with 105,000 miles on it. I was told I need the head gasket replaced, (due to a coolant leak), front wheel bearing, and an air leak, which is causing the check engine light to come on. Financially, would it be better to sell the vehicle as is or repair it? Thanks!

Do you really think you will get ANYTHING for the car without repairing it first??

The car is not that old, and the mileage is not excessively high. If the rest of the car is OK and it has been maintained properly, it is worth keeping. The problems you have are not unusual, except that on a Japanese car they would likley occur much later, around 200,000 miles.

I would shop around for an independent mechanic who knows Audis, and not use the dealer, who will drive this repair bill likely to about $4000-$5000, depending on you credit card limit.
