2002 Toyota door problem

I’m a hospice pastor and drive a 2002 Toyota Corolla LE 4 door sedan. Recently something broke inside the driver’s door and now I have to roll down my window and open the door using the outside handle. I can’t figure out how to get the inside door panel off. The bottom comes loose but the top half is on tight. Any help would be appreciated.

You should find two screws that hold the interior pull handle. They may be vislible or concealed under. Find these and remove them.

The trim around the interior door opening handle needs to be removed. It clips into position by pushing it in until the plastic tabs catch and hold the trim. The plastic retaining tabs are located on the top and bottom of the door handle trim. If the trim is not removed the top half of the door panel will remain secure in its position. To remove the trim locate the tabs and release the trim.

Also remove any more screws at the lower interior of the panel.

I hope this helps rev.
