After a front end alignment my car developed play in the steering, which it did NOT have before
Take it back! Don’t drive it until the shop makes it right.
When the toe is set correctly it becomes easy to feel play caused by worn parts; rack and pinion steering gear, tie rod ends, lower ball joints and control arm bushings. Could cost $2000 to make it right.
Why did you have the alignment done in the first place?
