Are there any recalls for the company to fix the security no start issue ? Just in the last three weeks I have had to do the re set on security like 5 times with the turn key to on for ten minutes before it will start. It is not cool when I live in Wisconsin in this frigid weather waiting ten minutes for my car to even start. Would sure love to finally have this fixed but I don’t have 400 dollars to have a mechanic to fix it.
It could be a bad key, if you have a 2nd key for your car try it.
The transponders in them do break.
It isn’t a safety issue, the car is 17 years old and Oldsmobile no longer exists, so no recall.
