i have a clunk on the passenger side front when i hit the gas go over bumps and turn the wheel or hit the brakes i checked the ball joints control arm every thing looks good and is solid it sounds like the strut spring
Check the front stabilizer bar links on both side for play.This is an inexpensive fix

Check the stabilizer bar bushings.
If they look like this, the noise could be coming from there.

My thinking is there’s a suspension system bushing problem. Pretty common at that age. Good idea to check the strut top mount also, and that the strut remains tightly connected at the other (lower) end i.e. check if any bolts fell out or loose. Could be a broken strut spring, but that can sometimes be very difficult to diagnose without removing the strut.
