car won’t start right away, I have to wait a few minutes before the engine will start.
Does “won’t start” mean that there is no sound when you turn the ignition key, or does it mean that the engine cranks/turns over but will not start and run?

If it cranks normally, try this next time. Turn your key to the on position, count to five, and turn it off. Repeat this three or four more times. Then see if the car starts quickly after that. If so, come back here and let us know.
