On my 18 mile drive to work this morning, I noticed smoke coming from under my hood, left front corner. Burning smell. I’d noticed the smell yesterday, but didn’t think it was my Jeep, and didn’t see any smoke. Opened the hood in the parking lot this morning, and there is some fluid leaking in that corner, not thick like oil. Am wondering what it could be, definitely need to take it in for repair, but what are the possibilities?
I had my brakes redone 4-5 months ago, regular oil change service, washed the vehicle 2 weeks ago (mistake?;-)). Recently have noticed a faint scraping sound when braking, thought it was related to the brake job, but haven’t taken the time to have it looked at. No problems with brake functioning.
Thoughts?
