i was driving home yesterday and i heard a pop from the right front side of my car when i was turning and then it started to grind im not sure if it was the tranny or the cv joint
It MAY be a bad cv joint or something else to do with the suspension.
Myself? I’d have it checked out.
I’m not sure why you think anyone would be able to help you with that description. “then it started to grind” - when? Only when you were turning? Only while moving? While accelerating? Decelerating? Sitting at idle? You haven’t told anyone enough to say anything.
Roadrunner is exactly right - it could be a cv joint or something else.
