My 2002 VW Beetle turbo will only idle in park. When in gear at a stop light of taking off shudders and runs rough and will jump occasionally at speed. What could this be and can I fix it? Please help!
How many miles on it. Is it TDI (diesel)? Has all the recommended maintenance been done as listed in your owner's manual?
Lease include the last time the fuel filter was change as well as plugs and wires (gasoline car)
Auto or manual transmission?I’m going to guess that you are referring to a gasoline turbo engine.
I would start with the Ignition coils, since they are a common fault point for these cars.
