2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport - Needs an exhaust

Need complete exhaust from catalytic converters (front pipe) back. V6 Automatic AWD.

I’ve heard your local exhaust shop(s) does that type of work…
Around my parts, Inglewood Muffler and Hitch does a great job for a good price…

Pretty common problem for a 22 year old car. Esp if driven in road-salted areas. Ask the repair shop if stainless steel replacement parts are worth considering.

Lemme send you a new one… Wait, we don’t do that here.

Call local exhaust shops for estimates.

There’s an excellent locally owned exhaust shop in Superior, WI. Been my and others’ go-to for decades now. There may be such a place near you. Ask around.

That’s not surprising for a 23 year old vehicle. Is your check engine light lit? If so, what are the codes? The shop that gave you the estimate should have those codes and should explain how they relate to your need for a new exhaust system. If you don’t have a CEL, how do they know you need all this? If it’s just a noisy exhaust system you probably don’t have a CEL and you don’t need a catalytic converter.

Reminds me of this:

Get rid of the thing while it still runs.

Flagged… … …

Cause everyone wants a high end custom exhaust system on their Rodeo…
And no, T****X does not even carry exhaust for an Isuzu, only very high end vehicles that the average person will never be able to afford new or a few years old…

What was flagged?

Spam for a high end exhaust supplier ;

Ah, thank you
Once upon a time, I priced an aftermarket dual exhaust kit, local muffler shop cut, bent, installed system for less than the kit for DYI.

Dave you have the spammers business name on your post. Might want to edit it out.

Yeah the company specialized in performance exhaust for High End Sports cars and Super cars, very nice stuff, nothing for the common man and definitely nothing to do with a 2001 Rodeo… The poster said something like if you still need your exhaust fixed then you should check out XYZ exhaust…

I may have drooled a little window shopping the site…
But unless my Rich Uncle gets out of the poorhouse, I will never be able to afford any vehicle they cater to…

We could spin this into a discussion of performance exhaust systems, whether beneficial or not on a daily driver.
