2001 Honda Odyssey: Blower problem

The blower does not work at 2 lower settings, but does blow heat at the 2 highest settings. What could be the problem? Thanks.

Most likely, the blower motor resistor pack has failed.

Wow, two in one afternoon! The blower resistor block is burning out, one fan speed at a time. Replace it and have all speeds again. The resistor block is usually mounted in the heat/AC ductwork near the blower motor. You can buy a new resistor block at almost any auto parts store and install it yourself if you are so inclined.

Yeah, resistor block.
We’ve been having a real bad cold spell up here in the northeast these past weeks, so we’re gonna get lots of these.
