Some of the 2V triton engines are known for blowing out spark plugs, which means you need the plug, insert, and the coil, because when it blows out, the coil also gets damaged

As far as a thread insert goes . . . I highly recommend time-sert. Don’t be surprised if you wind up needing a “last chance” time-sert

That is why I am not driving it now. I am afraid I’ll do further damage while I try to figure this all out. But with 10 people in my family I don’t have a lot of options for getting around. And I don’t have $$$$ to take to the shop that keeps suggesting I look at the DPFE first. Clearly I need to find another shop.
