driving and engine dies 2001 lesabre.try to start and fires but dies right out. so far eventually it starts back up.
No Check Engine Light? No? Sounds like the fuel pump.
It is definitely the fuel pump. My 03 did the same thing. First the fuel gauge went, then it started stalling at intersections more frequently. Finally it would stall regularly and I wouldn’t shut it off because it would not restart until the engine was cold. New fuel pump fixed everything. Don’t pay $700 for the repair. Simple to do yourself for $250.
Possible fuel filter. Try that first. It’s under the left side near rear door.
Also could be the pressure regulator. On top of fuel rail on engine.
