I have a rattle that seems to be coming from under the right rear side. I hear it when I hit a bump. It is a high pitched clink-clink not a clunk. I have jacked up the car and tried to find what is rattling w/o success. Any ideas?
Exhaust heat shield may be loose.
Agree with the heat shield. Or something inside the rear shock may have broken loose.
I’ve got to ask, though; Why come here and ask this of folks that can’t see, touch or hear this rattle from the internet guess at the cause rather than just have a service shop put it up on a lift and look for the cause?
